Located in SE Portland, the neighborhood shares its name with the volcano it resides on, which includes the very popular park with the same name. Concerts in the park are popular in the summertime, and people of all ages enjoy the hiking trails, basketball court, tennis courts, playground, picnic areas and wonderful vistas of downtown that are all part of the park.
The neighborhood of Mt Tabor is popular in part because of its easy access to both downtown and the airport, as well as its close proximity to the shops, restaurants and bars on SE Hawthorne, SE Belmont and SE Division.
